Rustop Technologies VCI Poly

Rustop VCI Poly is an LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) product that is available in the form of flat bags, sheets, gusseted bags, single wound sheeting and tubing.  Our VCI Poly is tailored to meet your needs.  We offer both a multi-purpose formulation which allows for protection of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and a ferrous metal only formulation.  Our products are available in  .001 to .008 mil thicknesses.  Rustop VCI Poly is an easy-to-use, convenient method of providing not only VCI protection against corrosion, but also added protection against moisture and the elements.  Our VCI Poly can be used as simple bags to contain your parts, as bin liners, covers, coil wrap, etc.  Often used in sea-faring shipments, Rustop VCI Poly provides excellent protection against the corroding effects of salt water. 

Rustop Guardian™ Co-Ex VCI Poly

Rustop Technologies has recently added co-extruded VCI poly material to our product line.  Rustop Guardian™ is a cost effective VCI film that provides increased durability with concentrated VCI protection on the inside of the bag where it's needed most.  Generally, VCI poly film is a mono-extruded product, meaning it is one layer thick, with VCI protection throughout the film.  This means that the VCI protection is also released on the outside of the bag.  Rustop Guardian™ is a three-layer LLDPE film with the VCI protection extruded into the inside layer only.  This design allows for reduced mil thickness of the costly VCI layer, while still providing premium corrosion inhibition and strength.  Available in both Rustop Multi-Metal and Steel formulas, Rustop Guardian™ may be the best choice for your application.  Please contact our Technical Department for recommendations and further information.
