Rustop Technologies, LLC was founded in 2002.  The combined experience of the principals of Rustop Technologies, along with their technical, entrepreneurial and managerial skills, enable us to provide premium corrosion inhibiting products to your company through a large network of industrial packaging distributors.

The principals of our company are Robert Daymon and John Cook.  Mr. Daymon attended Lansing Community College where he studied Economics and Business Law.  He also graduated from Burnside Ott Aviation Training Center in Opa Locka, Florida and the Miami Dade Junior College where he went through the Aeronautical Engineering program.  Bob holds a commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.  Bob's business experience includes ten years of managing two powder coating plants simultaneously.  One located in Ontario, Canada, the other in Michigan.  These plants provided underbody pretreatment of many metals including stampings, cast and machined parts, including galvanized, zincs and aluminum.  This field experience was invaluable in understanding maintenance and preparation of all metals prior to paint or coatings.  Mr. Daymon has over ten years experience in the VCI industry as a Plant Manager, General Manager and now, owner of his own company.  Bob enjoys the challenges of JIT delivery operations and the logistics involved to keep our customers supplied at short notice. 

Mr. Cook graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Economics and General Business Administration.  After graduation, John was employed as a Credit Analyst at Detroit Bank and Trust Company.  He then went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Army for four years.  In 1973, John co-founded CEI Group of Companies, a commercial roofing and sheet metal company with offices in Detroit, Denver, Dallas, Sacramento and Orlando, with $50 million in annual sales.  in 1998, Mr. Cook became co-founder and Chairman of General Roofing, Inc., a nationwide commercial roofing and service company with $300 million in annual sales.  John became a partner in Rustop Technologies in 2004.  His business experience is an invaluable asset to our company. 

Our Sales Manager is Nanci Forster.  Ms. Forster attended Lansing Community College and Baker College majoring in Economics and Business Management.  Nanci has over twelve years of Customer Service and Sales experience and six years experience in VCI sales, applications and inventory management.  Nanci also has an extensive background in the banking industry, with a concentration on accounting and information systems.  Her interest in the latter has especially proven to be an asset to Rustop Technologies in that our service to our customers has improved through her knowledge of the use of today's technological advances.
